$41K - $52K a year 3 days ago 3 days ago 3 days ago Overall Purpose of Position The Test Lab Technician is responsible for performing accurate testing and reporting of customer specific required testing.
And is responsible for reviewing and interpreting customer test specifications Essential Duties and Responsibilities Manages Customer specific testing specifications Updates/create Lab Test forms as required Perform initial chemical and life cycle testing for products for customers' approval process and annual verifications including analyzing and distributing results.
Prepare samples for testing Perform incoming product verification Perform initial and ongoing testing per the Incoming Control Plan for all NEC facilities Maintains and calibrate laboratory equipment Prepares and sends out equipment for calibration as necessary Assembles Test Sample books to share with customers for review as required Complete DVP&R's for customers Other duties and tasks as assigned Skills and Qualifications Knowledge of basic laboratory principles, testing methods and techniques Ability to operate and program testing equipment, Humidity/Fogging Chambers, Salt Spray, Weatherometer, Color Measurement equipment Ability to follow written testing procedures/specifications.
#NEIND1 Skills and Qualifications Knowledge of basic laboratory principles, testing methods and techniques Ability to operate and program testing equipment Ability to follow written testing procedures/specifications Basic understanding of Quality Management Systems Knowledge of chemical handling, SDSs and laboratory safety procedures Efficient organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple processes and priorities effectively Ability to navigate competing priorities both internal and external to the business Ability to quickly assess assigned task requirements, identify potential challenges, and communicate effectively in order to expedite the successful execution of assigned work Ability to work independently with adequate direction Desire to work in a team oriented environment with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
