Sourcing and Contract Specialist
Star Blends, a modernized animal feed blending operation, located in Sparta, WI, has a full-time opening for a Sourcing and Contract Specialist. This position is essential to the business operation by maintaining vendor relationships in order to gain market knowledge/opportunity and to purchase commodities and ingredients for the mill.
Primary responsibilities include:
ingredient pricing and selection, administering and monitoring customer and vendor contracts, optimizing incoming logistics, and establishing price quotes for commodities.

Qualifications:
Degree in related field of study with a minimum of 5 years' experience, strong business acumen, proven customer service focus and high level of attention to detail. Prior experience with agricultural feed and the commodity industry is a plus.
